Hearing Assessments
During your consultation, we will:
Complete a thorough medical history with you, including any family history of hearing loss
Discuss how your hearing loss is affecting you daily, its impact on those around you and the difficulties you face in modern communication
Carry out an examination of your ears, including video otoscopy (the use of a small camera in your ear canals)
Together, we complete a series of painless hearing tests, using modern diagnostic equipment
This produces an audiogram, or unique prescription, which will be used for any hearing aid recommendations
Openly explain the results of your assessment and link these to your everyday difficulties and afford you plenty of time to ask any questions
If the result of your assessment shows a hearing loss, we will demonstrate hearing aids to you and let you experience first-hand, the positive impact they can make
Finally, we can discuss your range of options and let you decide what you feel is right for you

Ear Examination
Everything starts with otoscopy, an examination of your ear canals and ear drums, to ensure everything is healthy

Audiometry
Having understood your day to day issues with your hearing loss, we carry out audiometry, which is the test to see the level of your loss

Explanation & Choices
Once we've completed your assessment, we'll explain your results, link them to your hearing concerns and then find the very best personalised solution for you
